for everyone

I like riding my bike, last year we went to PEI (Prince Edward Island) I went for a ride with my daughter, they have pretty nice cycling paths on the island.  We were stopping here and there to take some pictures...she left and I decided to take one last picture...I feel her brain is safe inside her helmet!

I am so glad to see a helmet! Most of us grew up in a life like "Mayberry", no real need for it...but today it is a zoo out there and our kids need safety!

These helments are required by law around here now. Great shot Jolar.

Go the lot with knee and elbow protectors too.

Good to protect your children... I myself went through my youth helmet-free and thankfully survived!

Great photo about safe! It's a law that kids have to wear bicycle helmets in Florida when riding. Nice page!

I believe it is now law in many places that bicycle riders wear helmets. That is good. I know I would need it. I'm terribly clumsy. Lovely photo of your daughter. I like that PEI has cycling paths. That is good too!

Salut.

I love Prince Edward Island and have been there many, many times !! I also love that your daughter wears a helmet, I was talking to a doctor and he told me that there were so many children with brain injuries due to not wearing them , and I wish the kids on skateboards would start wearing them now too because I shudder watching them skate over cement jumps with no protection !!

Hei Josee

Oooh, Prince Edward Island ---Anne of Green Gables- land!!
We have relatives living over there, by the way.
Keep so well and safe.

My take is in ere.

Great picture! I'm so glad for the helmet laws now, although I really don't know how any of us made it thru life without them!

Maybe I'll be able to rent a bike somewhere on PEI when I visit in October! Nice photo of G.

I'm all for helmets! I wear one and so do all my friends who bike in chicago. I know some stories that start out..."If I had not been wearing a helmet, I wouldn't be here!" So, my friends; please wear your helmets when you bike.

LOL JoLa!! Great picture, I was wondering where you were going with it on Safe! I love how you brought the helmet in, so very important to our safety!! I like the way you brought it in at the last, I was thinking it was going to be how safe the bike paths were, not having to ride among cars, but the helmet is better and caught me by surprise. OF COURSE!!! was my reaction to it!!

I am a big lobbier for helmets ... we have so many ATV wrecks around here and more than half the injured do not wear helmets .. that's just dumber than a wrench ... great pic ... 9 woofs!

That looks like a great place to ride. I like how you captured her in the picture (really in focus). Nice.
(it's crazy, but in my state, many fight for the right to ride motorcycles without helmets.)

Hi Jo:
That's a great use of depth of field to put the emphasis on your daughter. And a fine take on the theme. I have taken a couple spills over the last few years and wouldn't have survived intact without my helmet.

Beautiful picture. Isn't it nice to have such safety accessories. You have captured a wonderful memory of your daughter for far too soon she will be walking out the door and that view from behind will be a common one, as she grows into a beautiful woman.
